Mailbox App Now Owned By Dropbox

The new innovative app, Mailbox for iOS, has been acquired by Dropbox. The goal of the Mailbox app was to allow you to check all your emails in a simple manner, to achieve an inbox of ZERO.

I’m currently waiting for Mailbox to be available, as I currently have around 400,000 users ahead of me. Mailbox sounded excited about the deal when they stated, “The product needs to grow fast, and we believe that joining Dropbox is the best way to make that happen. Plus, imagine what cool things you could do if your Mailbox was connected to your Dropbox…” Dropbox also looked excited by saying, “It became clear that their calling was the same as ours at Dropbox-to solve life’s hidden problems and reimagine the things we do every day. We all quickly realized that together we could save millions of people a lot of pain. There’s so much to do and we’re excited to get started.”

We know both parties are in agreement here, and we can only wait and see what happens next with the new Mailbox app!

  1. Now all we need is a good Email client for Android, because the ones currently are not as polished as the ones for iOS.
