4 Reasons Why To Use AMD

For todays post I decided to post about AMD. As you may know here at SFI it is AMD month and some awesome stuff is happening too! But not only are we doing AMD all this month, Curtis @SFIndustries is cool enough to host a giveaway. If you are interested ask @SFIndustries for more info! But let’s get moving on a few reasons why to use AMD!

1. AMD has a amazing community that you can chat to. Not only can you chat to them you can blog about your builds. If you are interested AMD also hosts a few giveaways for this community. This community is called the “North American Influencer”

2. AMD creates amazing products like nobody else, not only do they create products thy put love into what they do and they love why their doing it!

3. AMD has amazing support! If you are having trouble you can visit AMD and they will try to help you!

4. AMD products are affordable but durable. This is one thing that matters when you buy a product.

But if you are trying to hackintosh we are sorry but OS X does not support AMD.

AMD All This Month

amd_logoAs in previous articles I have written with my sponsorship with AMD, this month is all about AMD. I haven’t been as active on SFI as I usually have been. This is because I have been actively engaged in trying out the newly built computer that AMD has sent me, and all this month, I want to share my experiences with the new computer. I will be doing benchmarks as well as try to do a video everyday with my experiences with the new computer, in which that video will be shared on the North American Influencer website, also known as the AMD fan website. The post that will be shared on SFI this month will be reclogged from the AMD fan website, but they will be articles that I have written. Sometime this month, I will also be hosting a Twitter chat, taking your questions if you have any, and talking with people about AMD’s new APU processors. AMD will be involved in this chat, and there will be gift card giveaways as well as a grand prize as well, and that has yet to be announced. Stay tuned, and please share this with the world.

Sponsorship Confirmed

amdshipIt has been confirmed now, I have got the sponsorship from AMD and they are now sending me a computer for free. This means great things for SFI, because I will do what I can to make the best content that I can with what I have. I will try to do as many reviews as I can over all the parts of this computer. I look to reviewing this computer to the core, and of course I will be honest. It is part of the agreement that I did with AMD by registering for the computer. I hope, that while I am doing this, making all this content for AMD that I will build a small community to chat more about computers, as computer hardware is my passion. I want to take a moment to thank AMD for giving me this opportunity, and having such a great community behind you. I look forward to having more computers with AMD technology inside.

Please share this post to your social networks, lets all take this opportunity from start to finish with this build, because there is more to come.

Mistakes Inspire

cpubentI recently read a story on the AMD community website and I had a similar experience, so I thought that I would share it with the community. A few months ago, back in January I built my first ever computer. My main use for this computer was to play Skyrim. I was so excited that I finally saved up enough money to build a computer. When all the parts came, I was very excited to start this project. I had bought a FX6300 6-Core processor, and I even named my computer “Vishera” because that is the name that AMD codenamed the processor. Continue reading

I decided to have a look at this community, as I had recently built a computer that is powered by an AMD processor, and motherboard. I was able to sign into the website using my Facebook account, and instantly upon viewing the site, I knew this truly was a fan club for AMD users. The website is heavily driven by its community and not just by AMD employees. On this website, users are able to upload reviews, videos, pictures, and updates to the website for everyone to read. Sharing each others content is a big part of this website, as when you share content, you accumulate points for the month. The top 5 people with the most points at the end of the month will win a prize from AMD. Continue reading
